August 2011–Neptune Renewable Energy gets green light for autumn deployment of advanced tidal stream device

Neptune Renewable Energy Ltd has been given parliamentary approval for the deployment of its world-leading tidal stream power device. It has been issued with a Transport and Works Act Order following a decision by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) to allow deployment of the Neptune Proteus NP1000 demonstrator and the installation of a shore bridge in the Humber.

2nd November 2010– Neptune Renewable Energy ready for commercial deployment after fullscale testing of Proteus Tidal Stream Power Generator

Neptune Renewable Energy Ltd (NREL) announces that it has successfully completed a series of rigorous in-water tests on the multi-million pound full-scale demonstrator of its world-leading Proteus NP1000 tidal stream power generator.
